New Felt Appys Arrived

Pictured is the smaller appy, whose name (I think) is Digimon. He's about the size of a Julip pony or foal.
Digimon and his stablemate, Blue, arrived today all the way from Nottingham. They said they had a wonderful trip, despite all of the snow they encountered. They also said it was very cold here, so I put them in the warmest room in the house, which happens to be the Horse Room!
They certainly are very well-made. Their creator is Laura Bond, and hopefully, she will put more felt horses on eBay in the future. (I missed out on a dapple grey and a bay Andalusian due to budget constraints, but maybe in a couple of months I can afford another one! Who knows? Maybe not-I was looking at baby furniture today, and it's very expensive from the nearest specialty shop. Looks like a trip to Babies R Us is in the future for Brian and I!)

I looked at the paper that came with the little Appy, and his name is actually Digidroid II, not Digimon. The bigger appy's name is Blue Heat II.

I can't work this out from the photo so excuse my silly question. Is Digi made from white felt with brown shading, brown felt with a white painted blanket or is he made from two different colours of felt?
I love his little bead eyes, very apealing.

Digidroid is made of white felt, with the tan and brown markings painted on. He does have a very cute expression (much more friendly and trusting than either Kelpie or Maeve!)
I think he's a Pony of the Americas, which are little appaloosa-colored ponies from a breed that was created back in the 50's. They originally were meant to look like pony-sized Arabs with spots, but their breed focus has shifted in the past 15-20 years and they now are supposed to resemble miniature Quarter Horses. Quite a change from the original founding vision!
