Derek at the Coffee Shop

Ryan took this photo of Derek chewing on a coffee cup at a local Coffee Shop!
Brian and I had a very busy weekend. Derek and I went "Quilt Shop Hopping" on Friday while Brian was at work. We visited several quilt shops, and as a member of the "Hop" we received special deals and small free gifts. My favorite shop was in Mason in a store that had been owned by the same family since 1928. (That's the year my mom was born!) The Mason store had the best fabric and one of the best discounts. They also gave out free bottles of water and bags of popcorn!
I like the store so much that I took Brian back there on Sunday. We discovered that they had a whole basement full of toys, just like the old Baldwin's hardware store used to here in Howell.
On Saturday, I went to a model horse fun show. I took some Julips and the two felt horses, and Whisper, the Arab Champion Julip, actually won a championship...in the "odd materials" division!
While I was at the model horse show, Brian and Derek were at the Milford Lodge, where Brian was presenting his paper on Masonic architecture to the Lodge of Research. Wow!
Sunday, we were able to get together with our friends, Ryan and Danielle, for coffee! That was fun!
Thanks for the photo, Ryan!
